I think everyone gets excited at the arrival of a handwritten letter! It's so nice and personal to receive a penned letter through your letterbox rather than getting a notification in your inbox. I have to say the only post of this sort landing on our door mat at the moment is wedding invitations, not that I'm complaining. I decided to make patterned writing sets as Christmas presents for the ladies last year. My hope was to encourage letter writing although my Mum has informed me it's far too pretty to actually use. Mission failed.
